Hi
I was working on my site and I installed MYBB on the link : http://sportzbuzz.x10.mx/Forums and I was able to visit it but when I tried to show it to a friend who lives in Egypt he wasn't able to visit it and he told me he got page cant be found messege so right now I tried a proxy and I found this message : unable to resolve domain

Does that mean that no one outside USA cant visit my site ? which I find strange because iam using the proxy now and I cant visit your forums but cant visit mine

Note that I tried the following browsers : IE,FF,maxthon.opera and safari

Please help me
thanks

You just set up the site today. It sometimes takes a little while for the DNS information to propagate through the Web. People in one area can see the site while others cannot. It just takes a little time, usually less than 24hrs.

Unless, of course, his ISP or country is blocking the site (one of the x10hosting servers was blocked for awhile by comcast ). In that case, your friend in Egypt will have to deal with it at that end.

...how do I know which server iam hosted on

As descalzo said above "in cPanel" - look down the left side of cPanel's home page - you might need to click on [ Stats ] - you will see [ Server Name absolut ]

...is it possible for some users in a country see the website while other cant untill the DNS configuration finish ?

In short yes - can also happen within a city
Here is a link for "What Is DNS propagation delay?" --> realhandydata.info/wiki/index.php/DNS_Propagation

Here is a link to check your domain's current IP Address and other DNS information against a selection of random "name servers" around the world - with a map --> www.whatsmydns.net/#A/sportzbuzz.x10.mx

Note as well that .MX is a Mexican domain (not US), so in the case of trade/diplomatic difficulties that occasionally arise, you need to keep an eye on what's going on between the user's country/region and Mexico, as well as whatever may be happening specifically in regard to the x10.mx domain (which may be blocked in some countries/provinces because of the political or religious content of some of the sites hosted on that domain).

Yes, it can be tricky sometimes because not everything is under your control. Theoretically speaking, Egypt should be much safer now than it has been in the recent past, but it will probably take a while before the issue of who gets how much freedom of speech is completely settled — there's likely still quite a bit of fear around the idea of a counter-revolution or theocratic opportunism driving policy at the moment.

If the DNS issue doesn't clear itself up within 72 hours¹, you may have to resign yourself to the possibility that you'll need to (a) purchase your own domain that isn't a subdomain; or (b) if your users can't ping your server (that is, when they issue the command "ping absolut.x10hosting.com" and "ping 198.91.81.2" at the command line, they get nothing but time-outs), then your server may be blocked altogether in their country/province and either (i) they need to use a proxy or a "free internet" loop to get to your site (both of which can sometimes be risky, depending on the political climate there); or (ii) you need to find another hosting provider or move to a paid plan (which will reduce the chances of server blocking considerably).

¹ 72 hour is longer than it normally takes, but that was the time scale I used to give to my clients before they were allowed to panic and start raising tickets. If the propagation scans at each level are done on, say, a six-hour schedule, and everybody just misses the last update on the previous server by five minutes, then that can add up to a whole lot of 5:55:00 delays. After 72 hours, you can be satisfied tthat it's not just a delay, and that something has gone wrong somewhere.

You are on absolut.x10hosting.com (you should see that on cPanel).

The DNS is in several layers. Have your friends clear their browser cache and history. Then maybe flush their DNS cache ( http://x10hosting.com/wiki/How_do_I_Flush_my_DNS_Cache ). Otherwise, it will just take time.

Thnaks for the help

I have one last question ( sorry for asking alot)
I tried another Egyptian broxy and asked another Egyptian friend to visit the site and it was working
Does that mean that the friend who isnt able to visit the site has a problem on his end ? or does it mean that his IP maybe is blocked or blacklisted ? (Note that I gave him my account portal details and he was able to log to my account control panel and my cpanel )
so does it mean that he has a problem on his end and if yes how to solve it
note that he flushed DNS and browser history also I made sure that .mx domains aren't blocked in Egypt and the server isn't blocked either

thanks alot for your help

Can your "friend" see other sites on server [ Absolut ] ?

You gave your "friend" access to your x10hosting account - which he used - yet you think he is block by x10hosting - why do you think he is block ?

###
I made sure that .mx domains aren't blocked in Egypt and the server isn't blocked either
How did you do that - one ISP within Egypt can block your IP and all the others - which is more than a few - can let it through ?

Here is something you need to understand from x10hosting's Terms of Service (TOS)
1. Server Usage
Personal accounts are to be used by the primary owner only.* Personal account holders are not permitted to resell, store or give away web-hosting services of their website to other parties. Web hosting services are defined as allowing a separate, third party to host content on the owner's web site. Exceptions to this include ad banners, classified ads, and personal ads. x10Hosting reserves the right to refuse service and/or access to its servers to anyone. Each individual is allowed ONE account only.
* bold is by me

You can read the complete x10hosting's Terms of Service (TOS) here --> http://x10hosting.com/terms
