Ok Im using Joomla, and Community builder, plus phpBB all linked together so users enter there same registration details but the problem is my users never receive there registration emails so they can confirm there registration.

The emails are automatically sent by Either Joomla or community builder im not sure and I have my email address that is associated with my domain entered in both of them.

Is there some special settings I need to take care of somewhere to allow Joomla to send out the confirmation emails??

Also When I use Outlook 2003 I cant receive any messages for some reason?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jeff F

I don't get an error with Outlook it just seems I don't get my emails??

I used the authentication and everything.

Thank you for checking that for me, I will have to add that to the text the see when the enter there details signing up for an account. I had a feeling that might be the reason but I also deleted my other email account and there was some foarwarder i had set that I deleted because it fowarded to the same email..

Im glad I know that its working though and thanks for doing that for me, this is the only forum that if i post to I know I will get an answer soon I like this place and having to use it does not bother me a bit.

Edit: I wonder if users register through the font page if it works aswell, but Im glad atleast registering through the forums works.

I'm glad you found the site because I had my old site in my signature for some reason I guess its getting late I've been up all night working on my site. I'm trying to set up a store using Virtuemart.

New Edit:::: Ok I just checked Joomlas back end and it is not showing that anyone new registered So Im guessing my link between Joomla and phpBB is not working But phpBB's email system is working and not joomlas or community builders

I just successfully registered by the main page (Joomla).
I first got a confirmation email, and when activating the account I got the welcome email.

My web mail has messages in it but there all Mail failure messages every single one of them..

I think I am interested in the Static plan or the advanced plan with the Platinum add on. My question is though can everything be easily transfered? Will I have to do anything to the settings on my site or just anything at all? and in all honestly how is the server reliability because at Bluehost I never had one server outage..

Thanks.

Can you post one of the mail failure messages so we can see what the error is..?

Yes, accounts are transferred from the free servers to one of the paid servers by us, so you won't loose any data and you won't have to transfer anything.
We currently have 2 paid servers, where all the accounts in there are paid. So here are lot less accounts and more server stability. We have an 99.99% uptime on both Skyy and Ciroc (Our paid servers).

did you do somethin?? all my messages just magically appeared... I'll send another test message to see if its working now and let you know.

Hmm I still cant get my messages through outlook 2003..

EDIT: Ok I sent a test message from my Gmail account to my jeff@gamingbidz.com account and I can get to it with webmail now. I'm glad that works now atleast. But I on outlook 2003 no new messages show up. is it because i have it set as Imap??

First delete your mail account from Outlook, and do this:
Login to cPanel > Email Accounts > Under "Functions" select: Configure Mail Client > and select: Auto-Configure Microsoft Outlook Express® for POP3 Access.

This will generate a .reg file that you run, and it will automatically configure the email account for you.
