Hi,

I have purchased a domain name at dreamhost, and i am using everydns.net.

I have created an account in x10hosting. Now I want my www.mydomain.com to point to my site in x10hosting.

Can anyone help me in telling me what are the various settings i need to do at everydns.net, x10hosting to make it work?

TIA.

Well, normally I would tell people to set www.mydomain.com as their main domain in Account Panel, or as an Add-on domain in cPanel.

And also to go to their registrar (dreamhost) & point their DNS to x10, by entering ns1.x10hosting.com & ns2.x10hosting.com.

But in this case, I'm not so sure. I'd imagine you point the DNS to everydns.net's nameservers, & then go to everydns.net & set things up there.

Doesn't everydns.net have a page telling you what to do?

P.S. A lot of people recommend opendns.com as a better alternative.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, that is exactly my problem. I have already set everydns.net as my name servers in my registrar (dreamhost), so how can I use the name servers at x10hosting.

BTW, is there any page you can point me to use OpenDNS instead of everydns?
Thanks.
