using my internet domain name

Hi there:

I have bought an internet domain but I have not been able to use it. I have put the DNS and IP of X10, I have parked it and managed a redirection into: public_html/federacion/Inicio.htm but it does not work, do I need to do anything extra? What is the procedure?

Right now the servers are undergoing maintenance (please read this thread for more information). So you may want to hold off until we finish the server you're on.

To actually set up a domain, you need to set these as your nameservers:

ns1.x10hosting.com
ns2.x10hosting.com​

Then, you can either change the domain in your Account Management Panel, or park it in your cPanel.

Ok thanks for you advice, and now that the service has been restablished could you please help me witrh the next?

In the site where I bought my domain, I setup the X1o DNS of:

ns1.x10hosting.com
ns2.x10hosting.com

after that I login into cpanel and I went to addon domains and register the domain as follows:

Domain name: federacion-carmelitas.org.mx
ftp user name: fedocdmx and respective passwords
root: public_html/federacion (the folder where I have the files)

then I open a browser and type www.federacion-carmelitas.org.mx and it does not work still, could you please tell me what is it missing?
