Is it possible to use my domain with x10 hosting via A-Records rather than changing the nameservers? I initially searched and found a post saying to set the A-Record to 69.175.104.34 which I did, but now the domain redirects to an error page.

Any help greatly appreciated, thanks.

I changed it to point to the server IP which I believe is 69.175.6.102 and it still sends me to an error page.

A ping to the server you account is hosted on as well as your main elementfx.com subdomain shows the IP to be 69.175.121.66

To anyone reading this thread in the future:

1. There are several servers for the free accounts, not just one. So one poster's IP may not be yours.

2. IP's of the servers can and have changed over time. So even if you are on the same server as a poster, the IP may now be different (a problem with using A records instead of nameservers)

3. If you are on smurf.x10hosting.com , ping the server to get the IP. Or use an online tool like http://network-tools.com/
