Using My Own Domain

I have a free account and I would like to use a registered domain name (i.e. example.com) instead of the "example.x10hosting.com" subdomain setup. How would I go about achieving this result, thanks in advance.

If you go to http://x10hosting.com/login, login with your forum username and password, on the left there'll be a spot to change it.

Okay, I tried that and it stated "The domain you've chosen is currently available!" after I clicked the "Confirm Domain" button.

But the problem is I have already purchased the domain and it should not be "available".

That's what it says generically, just click 'Confirm Hosting Details' and you should be set.

Okay, it processed something but all it prompted me was about my password being changed.

How exactly do I configure my domain to communicate with the x10hosting servers and the hosted files?

You need to set the domain name servers to ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com, and then set it as your main domain as I instructed above.
