Using own domain

Im currently using my website on a sub-domain kindly provided by x10.

I would like to use my own domain now.

Can someone guide me through this please. I have no knowledge about this at all, so please try to be specific as far as possible.

It would be a better option if you use your domain as an addon domain as this allows you to keep the subdomain too. First set the DNS nameservers to ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com at your domain registrar. Then in the cPanel go to Addon Domains and add your domain there using the domain information.
