Depending on what your php script requires, you may need to request an upgrade from your account panel.

Also, if you do not know anything about using php I suggest you either learn about php or get someones who does know about it to assist you.

If you need to learn there are a lot of places on the web that you can use. Google for "php course"

Also, whether your script may need PHP upgrades or not, i think even the most basic of php actual scripts need the upgrade, unless you are just echo'ing text...So also you will have to go to http://x10hosting.com/account and login, then select to upgrade to the intermediate php version, this process may takes 12 hours+ to complete, so please be patient before reporting any PHP errors.
