Hi
is there any way to access my website without the :
"INDEX.HTML" after the domain name ?

The direct link no longer displays, unless you add the
index.html.

can you see what i mean ? :

1. http://network1.x10.mx/
2. http://network1.x10.mx/index.html

You likely have Options -Indexes in your .htaccess file turning it off, otherwise a file named index.html would be the default index (automatically served file, in place of the server-generated "Index Of" file listing).

Your .htaccess file is just a text file with a special name. In order to see it, though, you will need to use FTP or open the File Manager with the option to see hidden/dotfiles. (File names that begin with a "." are hidden files.) All you need to do is edit the file to remove that line (or remove the "-Indexes" if there is more than one option in the Options line).

Thanx again for your help.
i couldn't find this "HIDDEN-FILES" option in the screenshot below,
but i deleted an "index.php" file, and that seems to have corrected it.

I previewed one of the default websites from x10, and i think that
when i deleted that default x10 website from the server,
it hadn't deleted the php file.
thanx again for your help.

For future reference, the "hidden files" option is in the little dialog that sits between cPanel and the file manager (the one that also lets you choose which directory to open). And yes, having more than one index (one of which doesn't work) might cause the system a bit of trouble :)
