Do you know if it is a public beta or do you have to have a license?

^I was on vB.org to check some hacks.. the announcement was vB 3.7 Beta 2 will be publicly released but I won't risk upgrading until the stable version comes out but I can't wait to test that beta on local host... I can't wait.. w00t

You have to have a license.

I do have a license :p vBulletin allows you to run two copies of vBulletin, one is online and can be seen by the whole world and one that can't be seen by the whole world... IPB has the same terms on those..

One localhost
One online

Actually, you can also run one in /testvb/ online, as long as it's password protected.

From https://www.vbulletin.com/order/license_agreement.php ... "If you have a valid Software license, you may set up an additional test forum in order to test code, template and database modifications. To make this clear to us and our license verification procedures, place it in a directory called 'testvb' and be sure to password protect it. It must not be accessible by the general public."
