ok this is for testing purposes only my vb is legal. i own a site on another server and i run vb works great. well i opened a free account here for testing purposes well the vbulletin isnt working right. in the admin cp the ecpand buttons dont work. in order for me to expand them i have to click the link at the top that says extand all. also when i try to edit a skin where it says go, and i click go it wont go. any ideas i spoke with vb support and they said
1. The scripts must be installed into a CGI directory.
2. The php scripts need to be modified and the location of PHP on that server needs to be added in the first line of the script. (You'll need to download a new vB zip file and put this location in the CGI Shenbang box prior to downloading.)
3. The scripts need to have executable permissions set (usually 755.)

You'll need to contact your host for the the exact instructions for your server.

anyone have any ideas on what could be going on? or does anyone have vb working on a free hosting account here?

This is a free hosting. So I don`t think anyone is using vB. Because it is expensive. But may be someone use this on x10hosting.

well,
According to me that is not the host problem.

I've seen a few vB go up in free-hosting, before they got taken down/ banned for using an illegal "nulled" script.

Their sites seemed to work OK while they were up, though I didn't test every feature.

Bear in mind that there is also paid hosting on x10, so there could well be plenty of members using vB themselves.

Sorry that I can't help you with the specifics of your problem.

Anyone else?.......
