Very Very Ugly Ugly Slow Slow SQL Calls

I am trying to get into phpMyAdmin so i can do a database export. but it just wont load worth a damn. even site is loading slow. this is very annoying. and is turning me away from x10. this happens way too often when trying to do something that has to do with SQL Databases which slow to a dead stop. just trying to open phpMyAdmin it sits for more then 30 minutes loading till i give up let it sit for 30 minutes and try again with no luck. I want to do a export to back up a site, like i like to regularly but these issue all-was a smack in the face.
