Would making video tutorials be a good idea?

Well, as mentioned in this thread >> http://forums.x10hosting.com/off-topic/100815-vps-so-cheap.html as well as thought about myself in the past, I was wondering what you guys would think about getting some video tutorials on a variety of topics in and around x10Hosting, such as how to use the service, how to operate software, registering, FAQs, support, etc, and if it would be a good idea to spend the time to make both video tutorials, as well as text based guides which I think may be in the works right now. These videos would obviously need to be available in Standard definition format, but HD formats could also be created as well for those who would prefer HD (I would, much easier to see things anyways). For recording, I was considering taking on that task and for what the tutorials would be on before the videos are created, would be talked about in a Wiki style way or however people prefer.

text tutorials with pictures is a better idea imo, because it's easier to follow, and you can translate it if you aren't very good in English. And you could take a break at halfway and do something else, do that with a vid and you have to wait for it to load then try to continue from where you left of.

That's one of the things I plan on going along with the video tutorials for those who use dial-up or capped Internet, or even then do not like videos. Probably might put them in a Wiki-like style.

I like the text tutorial with pictures idea better too. I already have a handful on my own blog, and have implemented some in the official x10Hosting knowledge base that we're producing as well.
