viewing webpage

I uploaded my index.htm file for my site but how do i actually view it?
putting in the host url then the file doesnt do anything.
suggestions?
Edit:
does it make a diffrence that i chose the ending of the url to be co.cc? as apposed to the x10hosting?

as long as you registered with co.cc then you can use a co.cc address. You can check out this tutorial I made for just such a purpose if you have any questions how to do this

What do you mean by doesn't do anything? Do you get a blank page? Timeout error? Not found error?
