I prefer dual boot because it sets a clear cut beteween two OS..
In the case of Virtualization if virus attacks host it may also effect guest os. But it wont be in the case of Dual Boot ( I use Dual Boot With WIndows And Linux)

Dual boot. Its faster because I have a slow PC, and just seems better, haha. I guess its because I just don't like the idea of running an operating system in an operating system :p

Virtualization is not that great to be honest. It is a great idea like communism, but it doesn't work that great, especially with Linux. Sometimes the drivers don't work well. I prefer dual boot or even triple boot because it is great when it come to programming in C++ or Python.

Virtualization is great if you have the power. On then other hand, so is dual booting if you have the space. Either way you look at it there will be compromises that will have to be made. Personally, I like both of them.
