VSTO visual basic

I am in the process of writing an Excel add-in in VSTO using vb. The thing here is I do not like re-inventing the wheel because of the obvious.

So, is there anyone good at VSTO and could have an idea about how to move data from one database to another in vb with the use of triggers and maybe stored procedures?
