Hi i am new to this and was uploading the site and wanted to now what would be my home address ?
1. "http://bipinpuri.x10hosting.com"

2. http://bipinpuri.x10hosting.com/Index.html

Option 1 shows the directory
Option 2 shows the actual home page

Shouldn't option 1 be the actual home page?

urgent help required
Edit:
I think i have messed up the directory structure or somthing becoz now even the index thing is giving an eror. How to start uploading from blank? How do i clean up the structure and get the original state as in the begining.

Option 2 shows up an error page because it should be lower case i (index.html). Either way they both work for me.

*Moved to different Forum, doesn't belong in tutorials*

i guess you meant "index.html".
and yes, once you enter e.g.
"yourusername.x10hosting.com"

it actually displays your "index.html" inside that folder (which means its same if you enter index.html or not in your address bar).
in case there is no "index.html", i guess it should disply your files and folders that are visible frmo that directory of yours.

If you've messed everything up and want to start again, just delete everything in the /public_html/ directory. (Note: that won't give you that origional index page of x10, but you don't need that anyway.)
Usually when you go to yourdomain.com, you'll get the page yourdomain.com/index.html (or .htm, .php, etc) but you can change that in the server config or with .htaccess files.
