i think if your offering web design as a service you really need to make sure 2 things you dont do on your own website (as this is the basis people will look at) 1. dont use frames, and 2. dont use tables for the design, use divs all the way, tables are ok, for data, and thats it now... :\
Ok, granted the "average" person online looking for a website wont know the difference, but a company specifically looking for a website, will have some knowledge.
It may seem cruel to say it, but trust me, i do web design and graphics design, im self employed. but people do look for these things now.
Also a very big section your missing is an online portfolio. Display your abilities, whether they are live sites or not, show something off.
