Dear Sir/Madam,

For the past 5 days, when I go to my website, I see this message: Database Error: Unable to connect to the database:Could not connect to MySQL.

Can you help me with this problem.

Many thanks in advance.

Thomas McWhirter.

Go to cPanel and click on Remote MySQL.
Add these to the allowed list:
init.fris.x10hosting.com
69.175.6.94

Then try again.

Thankyou very much for your help.

I've forgotten my password for the cpanel. How can I recuperate/change it.

Many thanks in advance.

Go to Account Management System

https://x10hosting.com/control/login.php

Sign in with Forum username and password

Yellowish boxes should have both Forum and Free Hosting names.

Menu item Account --> update password

Current Password they ask for is your Forum Password.

This will reset both Forum and cPanel passwords to the same string.

I've added the following to my remote MySQL list: init.fris.x10hosting.com, and 69.175.6.94, in order to sort out a problem at my website. When I go there, I see the following: Database Error: Unable to connect to the database:Could not connect to MySQL.

Any ideas how I can sort this out?

Many thanks in advance.

Thomas.
