I am currently trying to run a website on the address xbox360guide.x10hosting.com. However whenever I run the site all I get is some placeholder.
Except I already replaced this and have a webpage with the name index.html in my public_http folder and www folder.
The website was designed as http in dreamweaver.
This is critical as I need the website running prefferably today.
As of now I am also unable to log in.
The domain and website are under your services.
I apologise if any of this is covered some where but I am new to this in general.

....with the name index.html in my public_http folder and www folder...l.

I'm no expert, & stand to be corrected by someone who knows more about this,

but shouldn't it be in your public_html folder? (or was that what you meant to say?)

Edit :

I'm not sure what you mean by "unable to log in" (you need to be more specific) but I assume that is because there seems to be a problem with the servers at the moment ; http://x10staff.co.cc/status/

They may have a fault or be undergoing maintenance - which will be sorted out quite soon, I'm sure. :)

You are putting your files in the right place...but that page is not the default x10hosting page, that is the cpanel page. I think you need to have someone at x10 look at your account, that is not page that you can delete or edit.

ZEn-r is right, it should actually be public_html

and you should make sure that the index.html is overwritten by the new or deleted before uploading the new

Yes. If your site still looks faulty when others are saying it's fine (as am I) - then you probably just need to clean out your browser's cache.
