I am trying to set up a website using the website builder found in cpanel. However, I am unable to get past step two where I try to log in.
The domain and user information is already filled in and I add the cpanel password but can get no further because the user name/password is rejected.
I have been trying to test this out for a non tech savvy user who wants to build her own site, but it seems to have fallen at the first hurdle. I am a web designer and look after a dozen or so sites for clients, but there is always one who wants to DIY so I thought that this host was suitable because it has a site builder with templates.
I have also spent ages looking on this forum to see if this problem has a solution but none that work as far as I can see.
My test account is fatcat.x10hosting.com which I have successfully used with Filezilla to add some dummy content so ftp works ok, the username and password are fine. I cannot recommend this host if I can't get the website builder to work and that seems to be an ongoing problem here.
