I am a new user here btw and my website is bahaymoeto.x10.mx

I created all html using notepad

I am using filezilla to upload my files to the public_html

But after uploading them i tried to check my website and i am seeing an index/ list of all the files i have uploaded

So i renamed my welcome.html to index.html and still gettin the same view

I also tried clearing my cache and flushing my DNS but its still the same

When i try clicking index.html i am gettin this 404 error.

Please tell me what i must do. Thanks in advance

I *think* new users have a waiting period of 24-48 hours before their site will show up. I could be mistaken though... but if it were me, I would wait about 2 days and then create a support ticket if it still isn't working.

Ok, looks like i need to wait for atleast 2 days before i can see my actual page ^_^

bahaymoeto.x10.mx is showing me a default home page >:)

but when i type bahaymoeto.x10.mx/index.HTML it is showing me my homepage

btw, be careful when coding links. If its index.HTML dont even try typing it as index.html

index.HTML is not the same file as index.html.

The server looks for index.html

NEVER use uppercase in file/directory names unless you are very careful. Never ever use spaces.

Using Filezilla you need to rename your index.HTML file as index.html so that when someone goes to your site they'll see your site. I went to: http://www.bahaymoeto.x10.mx I was shown a file directory of all of your files. In order for me to see your site I had to manually type in the /index.HTML after the .mx
Once you do this your site will show with no problems.
