Website/Forum Address Bar Icon

Ive seen on some websites/forums including this one, up at the address bar were you type the url of the website/forum in, the little icon at the start which is at default a blue IE Page Icon (if your using IE), well some forums/websites have there own icon like x10 has the little X10 Icon.

How is it that i add my own one in and can i just make an icon in Photoshop???

Just create a 16x16 .ico image, and upload it. Then put this between the 'head' tags:

Code: 
<head>
   <link rel="shortcut icon" href="[b]favicon.ico[/b]">
</head>

favicon.ico is the name for the .ico file.

Thanks man ill work on it just now... How do i save it as a .ico file???

Just well saving in Photoshop go to All Files and type .ico at the end??

Also.. were do i upload the file to ???

Not necessarily it must be Ico

Here plugin to keep in format ICO with photoshop, you have it to put in the folder of File formats

Is freeware
