When I log in to my control panel, it says "You don't have any websites added. Create one and begin your online presence today!"
I know I have a website because I can visit it using my custom domain, salr.us. I am unable to login to FTP using a client.
EDIT: I am able to access the site via FTP using salrusso.x10host.com. I wasn't earlier because I was accidentally using the URL salrusso.x10hosting.com. Still, my site is not showing in the control panel.

Did you use addon domain? Then in cPanel file manager under /public_html/salr.us you should see your files. But salrusso.x10host.com redirects to http://salr.us/so/ so it would be /public_html/salr.us/so.

If the files for the site was uploaded through ftp rather then "created" through the basic control panel that would explain that I believe. It may be less confusion for you if you switch to the full cPanel theme (labeled cPanel x3) by clicking the link "switch theme" at the top right.

Optionally you could use the create website to actually add your existing one by choosing "custom website" (which would be the option if you want to upload by ftp and/or manually install any scripts such as a blog or forum rather then using the built in installer).
