Website not working with or without www.

I am a youtuber who is making a PHPBB3 Forum and I uploaded the files to public_html and whenever I go to my site without www. it redricts me to the cgi-bin and when I go to the site with www. it has the index page that I updated? Please help me, I am an expert programmer, and I don't understand this.

Both send me to the default index.html (which you should remove/replace with your own).

Clear your browser cache and history and flush your DNS, close and then reopen browser, before checking the site again.

I deleted the old index ok and install phpbb3 on it

Seems to be working now, ie, shows your new phpBB via both with/without www
