Website too slow

I've noticed for a week now that my account is working very slow, this includes my website, cpanel, etc. Are servers under maintenance?

I've noticed the same thing. Is this something common to the free hosting plan?
I thought initially that it could have been my connection, though a friend (on a different continent, and with a significantly better connection) informed me of the same issues.
If the lack of speed is something common to the free hosting plan (understandable, it's free after all) I'd be interested to know if the paid plans suffer the same issues before considering upgrading.

I'm have the same issue here. I noticed loading my site was extremely slow to where it would time out. and eairler today noticed the main site x10hosting.com was offline aswell I couldn't even access cpanel or ftp or view my webpages.

This happened about 5hours ago ruffly? I figured it be fixed by now I can connect now but the page load times are slower than 56k and i'm on broadband.
what gives?
