Another thing to consider is what your website will be for. For example, if it'll be a portfolio to showcase some of your hard work, then search "examples of portfolio websites". The very first link, 101 Awesome Portfolio Sites - Web Design Blog – DesignM.ag, looks awesome and you can get some real inspiration from them. Take some of the best features and looks from a handful, merge them together, and you have an awesome-looking site. The vast majority of us programmers and scriptwriters somewhat struggle to come up with a good-looking site; that's why we script, and not do graphics design :wink:
