Webspace Upgrade

I am currently using the free account. When the tenure ends, I want to upgrade to a paid host account. Does that mean, the earlier space will be linked or do i have to sign up again with a different account.

Also, i heard from my friend, the space available with the paid host is less(300 MB) compared to the free account. Is that right?

It shows that disk space is umetered.

When you apply for a paid hosting account you get the option to enter a existing cPanel username, this is to notify a admin or senior staff member to transffer the free account to the new paid account.

Tenure is not quite the right word. Your free hosting account has no time limit on it or contract period. Once signed up and its up and running, it will be around for as long as you allow it to be. Either requesting its termination or by defying the terms of service and having it forcfully terminated.

The amount of disk space you get for paid accounts varies depending on what plan/package you select.
