Hello X10Hosting Community.
I am using joomla 1.5 to create my website right now, and i uploaded a template to the template folder for joomla and set it to my default and went to preview, and I get this default page telling me Welcome to your new x10hosting account! and some getting started information.
Can anyone tell me how to get rid of this page?

Delete the index.html file from your public_html directory.
That should solve the problem.

I think you may have accidentally deleted some files or folders that should be there.
If this is a new Joomla installation the easiest solution may be just to reinstall it.

how do i uninstall it

Did you install with Fantastico?
Control Panel, Fantastico, Joomla 1.5, Current Installations, Remove.
When that is done install it again.
