OK so I was wondering what do you need to do or how do you qualify for the unlimited space as I simply cannot upload the complete site I am trying to upload. it took me a while to figure out it was failing because of storage space as I rules that out due to it being unlimited, do I have to have x amount of traffic or referrals or wait a certain time period as its still not letting me complete after a few months.

The upgrade isn't automatic.

You need to fullfill three requirements:
1. the account needs to be at least 7 days old
2. there has to be a working site that is in par with the ToS (doesn't have to be a completed site, but enough there to warrant the need for an upgrade.
3. The account needs to be using at least half of it's initially allotted disc space. All files present must be relevant to the site (storing multiple backups could be seen as using the space for filehosting, one or two is okey but more then that is questionable, backups are best at use when they are stored off site anyways)

I believe I have met all 3 requirements as below:

1. Account is over 2 months old.
2. The site is working but incomplete due to space.
3. The site is using ALL of the space and does not have enough room for the rest of it.

Unless the site is deemed not worthy, how do I now go about the manual process to apply for the unlimited space?

We've looked into this and seeing as the map is basically an overlapping image gallery, you'd still be limited by the ToS regarding the space usage cap for personal galleries.

Aside from that gamefile hosting is not allowed as per ToS, and this would be borderlining that, eventhough the files are in fact just images they are there for the purpose of displaying a game map of minecraft.

Due to this your account is not currently eligible for the free upgrade to unmetered plan.

I would recommend downloading all your images, using a program such as FileOptimizer to losslessly compress your images and then re-uploading them. I was able to compress the image at http://leemc.x10host.com/render_day/0.png from 18,219 bytes to 15,992 bytes. While this may not seem like much, it will add up if you have a bunch of files. You can also use a web service such as Kracken.io to do this.
