What hostname must I write in wp-config.php to connect local database MySQL?

It about this hosting...What hostname must I write in wp-config.php to connect MySQL? I writed 'localhost'...
My password and username for database MySQL in wp-config.php is correct. But otfen my browser says:

"Error establishing a database connection

You've got it right. It is localhost. Therefore, it must be that the database server is having problems. I do believe that they are working on fixing it right now.
