What is the difference between Microsoft Expression Web (1 or 2) and Frontpage 2003?

I heard that Expression Web removes certain web components from Frontpage among one of the changes... Can anyone clarify these changes?



Note: I have read whatever Microsoft has said about this issue but I have also heard from some about the disincentives of upgrading to Expression Web 1 or 2. Does anyone know anything about these or better, experienced it?

Expression Web is just Frontpage with a slightly edited UI. It's supposed to generate valid XHTML now, but it never does. The only way forward is Dreamweaver, as FP / EW never fails to generate broken, messy, MSHTML.

Stick to Dreamweaver, it highlights PHP and is generally better when generating HTML.
