I have installed Roundcube on my account and connected it to X10Hosting's mail server.
I want to add plugins to create anew accounts, change passwords, and so on... For this I need to know what type of server X10Hosting.com uses. Is it HMail? Or is it something else?

Hi raistlin_majere,

x10Hosting uses SMTP.

I knew that already. That wasn't my question. I already installed and configured my mail client, roundcube. It's working. What I was trying to do was put a plugin that allows you to change your password from within an account.
By the way, I think I've answered my own question by doing this manipilation. I know what the settings to enter are. But now I've got a new question. I was trying to set up the plugin, making it work. I was modifying the main configuration file suddenly getting an error message ssaying my account was suspended for high resource usage. I didn't understand. I wasn't doing anything resource-intensive. I was modifying a text file! So anyway, I went to my account panel and got it un-suspended automatically. Then I started work on my plugin again. After two minutes, the same message! I don't understand. Why? The only possibility I can consider is that when testing if the plugin was working, the load time was immense. I waited for it to work, until I got my suspension message.
What am I doing that's wrong?
And what happens after three warnings?

It seems that your roundcube plugin is pretty resource intensive script. You have a few choices: remove that plugin; find a new webmail manager; manage your mail from cPanel (roundcube is installed in cPanel) or buy a premium package.
As for the warning count, see it that way: There are no fourth warning.

If you get suspended for a third warning, you will have to agree to remedy to the problem causing the high resource usage and an account manager should unsuspend you.

Roundcube is not installed on my account. Is that normal?
Apart from that, thanks for your help.
Seems strange to me that a simple script like that could be the cause of so much resource consumption. Oh well. Didn't need it THAT much.
Do these warnings go away eventually? Like, after 30 days, you go back to 0? Or is it permanent?

I think warning are permanent. I don't know for sure so don't quote me on that.

BTW, you can't modify the mail accounts directly (as far as I know, the only way to modify accounts is through cpanel):so a roundcube plugin wouldn't help much. I've never tested this, but I doubt direct control is allowed.

And also, Roundcube isn't installed by default: horde and squirrelmail are.

Actually, this plugin is supposed to work for CPanel. It was designed for it. So that's what I don't understand. Why does it use so much resources?
