Not sure we CAN say the names of rival webhosts unless basically calling them complete crap :)

In any case my #1 reason for why x10 is better than the rest? X10 gives a damn. That's putting it simply; I've been on webhosts where they spend a week before realizing there's a problem, then they spend the next week fixing it.

X10's having problems as of late but they've been fixing it since the day the problems started - I shudder to think what that'dve been like on one of the other hosts I've been on. Probably would still be down come December 2008 >_<

I'd say exactly the same thing as Livewire.
Also on the last host I tried it turned out they were actually only giving out 15MB of space yet they advertised it as 750mb!!
Another thing I found out about that host was they turned the server off for 5 hours every night so that meant any people in different countries who wanted to go on it couldn't. How stupid is that??

But X10 is just brilliant!!!!!!!!!

Not quite as bad as having 2 hours uptime each day, broken up among all hours of the day >_<

That webhost finally sank last month though. Good riddence :)

Another reason x10's good: Staff. Can't believe I forgot to commend the staff on their excellent work (think when I posted a question about getting on paid hosting I got an answer within a half hour, quite surprising to be honest :) )

Well Cpanel is nice. I wouldn't say it "makes x10hosting better than the rest" since some free hosting providers do offer Cpanel, but other than that I cant find anything. Due to the server stability issues for that past 2-3 months, I have moved http, ftp, mysql, and all mail services to my own private server. My http November/December/January (88 days) uptime has been less than 35%, and MySQL managed to stay up for less than 20% (according to BroadbandReports.com monitoring tools). If fact, right now, all I got running on x10hosting's end is various redirects to my own server.

But, like I said Cpanel is nice.

You can change your plan from static to advanced in your account panel (http://x10hosting.com/login).
