I'm looking to make a scary flash game, and got interested in what makes people scared. It would be great to know what the scariest things are, so I'll post a poll, but feel free to post anything scary I've missed (if it scares you), and vote for those too.

When you say 'what scares you most?' I guess you mean in the sense of say in a film, what actually scares you.

I don't really get scared because I try and think ahead to what's likely to happen but things that make you jump are usually "scary" - something pops up quickly and close to the screen, a music build up, or no music build up and then a quick image change.
