I very seldom listen to anything on my computer, but I do have a pair of small speakers that are out of the way of everything else. They came with one of the other computers we have. They sound like an old am radio.

My laptop - very tinny stereo speakers.
Desktop - very cheap (but fairly good) stereo.

I've never had surround sound or anything else fancy.

I still have the speakers that came with my computer ;) They are worn out now, all crackly and what not. I need new ones soon, before these ones blow up.

I have whatever speakers Dell gave to me when I bought my computer - stereo sound only. No subwoofers, and there's no headphone socket either. :(

I create my own speakers and amplifier
2 x Bass boxes ( 60 x 60 x 80 sm. ) with 40 sm ( 15 inch ) bass inside.
4 x Middle boxes ( 20 x 20 x 40 sm. ) with 3 x lauspeakers inside.

it's realy cheap to build such a thing here - like 120$ for all the project.
and it realy can blow someone's mind :)
2 x 150W sinus power ... :)

Running 2 amps.
1 x Sony 200w genuine rms
1 x Sakyno +- 100 rms

7 speakers
2 x sony 100w rms (1 x 8 inch woofer, 1 x tweet)
2 x Dixon 50w rms (2 x 8 inch woofer, 1 x tweet)
3 x JVC surround speakers.

All in all just enough bass to reverb windows and hollow doors, but more than enough pitch to carry a block away ;p
