Forumotion.com is good.. I belong to a website on there, have been on it for the last 4 1/2 yrs. We post, put up pics, etc. no major problems... very easy to use. You can set up your forum how you want plus they have a great support site for problems or questions.

Personally when it comes down to it, a free hosting account and SMF 2.0 I have of course a free account on x10Hosting and I have SMF 2.0 installed to my account. You can do tons of things this way.
