thanks. i've been thoroughly reading through the forum so I don't miss a beat. thanks for the info.
And here's a question that I think will make my post relevant to the topic: The host (byethost) was my previous provider, but it took FOREVER for my site to send new-member confirmation emails through the auction script I'm using. Do you think that will be a problem here? byethost says that it has to do with spam filtering, and that a lot of email clients like yahoo has blacklisted them because of spam. This is the main reason I sought out a better provider. Do you think that this will be a problem here? I won't be sending mass emails, except possibly in the future I may have some sort of newsletter; though I don't necessarily have to use the script or x10 to send those mass emails.
I don't know if anyone is familiar with it, but I am using an auction software called BidWare. I've read a lot of complaints about there service on the net, but as far as their free version script goes, it's the best out of 5 that I experimented with. Will it cause any problems here? The script is at bidware.com. My site is
www.earthincentives.org (not advertising, simply asking if everything I'm doing is legal here on x10... it will be a long while before I actually start advertising) It WILL BE a site dedicated to buy/sell/trade eco-friendly products. I ASSUME that since I was able to install the script completely that it is allowed, and won't cause any problems, but I've noticed on this forum that quite a few scripts are apparently....resource exhausting... and I don't know if this script falls into that category. So, any advice? Wrongdoings? If things aren't allowed, I'll gladly upgrade (which I will eventually be doing anyway)
And again, thanks for the great host and support! Kudos to this Corey.
