I login my cPanel and found that my disk space has been changed to infinity.

Though, I have read that for High Risk Countries, it's initially limited to 500 MB.

Is this by mistake or anything else that my space has been changed?

Here the same but in reverse i had unlimited and now my diskspace is changed to 512mb strange?

The time that the high risk server (lotus) was experiencing difficulties (the time cPanel wasn't working) they must have done something to try and restore service to everyone. This might have meant resetting user stats. So it might have been infinite for a while until they changed everyone's back to 512MB.
If you need more space you can ask for it through a support ticket, they'll only give it to you when you NEED it.
