when can php be upgraded to 6?

There is PHP 5.2.5 and it work find
and PHP 6 [SIZE=-1]syntax will change make a lots of script don't work
Am i right???

Hmm, i am not sure...about the syntax changing... i don't think it would... well not to much anyway...it wouldn't be hard to fix some small syntax errors...also i suggest sticking with php 5.2.5 for now, it works well and i dont think x10 will be upgrading to php 6 for a while...

They won't upgrade that soon. It'll be buggy, and all kinds of things. It's not a good idea to do the upgrade, and it's not needed anyways.

PHP6 isn't out as an official release yet. The Development team of PHP6 will probably be putting in some backwards compatibility for older scripts, like PHP5 has. But for now, when PHP6 does come out, except to wait a few months before hosts install them, as hosts don't want something buggy on their servers.

I hope not until its a stable release... we get a lot of people complaining here when even a stable release is introduced about scripts not working, forums not loading etc.... imagine using an unstable php version? people would be going crazy :p
