When trying to install either WP or Joomla 2.5 after install can't be accessed

Hello,

I'm having issues with installing CMS's, for some reason after completion of the installs there are 2 links available to view the raw site and to access the admin panel for set up in the CMS.... Unfortunately every time I create a site and click one or both of those links I receive a 404 error and can't figure out what is going wrong.

I had to post this as a reply because the save button would not work for me when editing the post.

I have figured out so far that my site is actually using https:// instead of http://.... So far I find that I can not see anything in the directory when I FTP in, but I can see the files with the x10 file manager. I'm also unable to access the site due to the log in and pass does not match anything I've input.
