When was the last time you know them to have been there?
We have not made any server changes for the last few months. Back in June/July we did some major migrations during which time we sadly lost some files in the automated process. We have since purged out the old backups as well, after giving warning we'd do so and that user with files missing needed to request restore within a certain time, so there's no longer any option to regain files that were lost at that time.
