Where do i need to put the index.html file?

is it the www folder or public folder. this is new to me.

www and public_html are the same folder, under different names.

Place your index.html in either one.

i put the index file in the public/www folder and after i go to gamaniagames.com the same file/page doens't show up. how to resolve this?

Try putting your index.html (or index.php) in the public_html folder.
