Hello,

I have tried to re-register my site, thought I was successful, when I try to login, or access the site by browser it says the site specified does not exist.

Thinking it must not exist (and hence was not registered properly) I try to re-register but it says the domain is still in use.

If the site doesn't exist, how is it in use?

Can someone let me know what's going on?

The site is/was rcd.pcriot.

Thanks for your help with this.

RC

    Hi,

I noticed my site was down a few weeks ago, then noticed all the issues going on, and decided to wait and see if it all got sorted out.

Well, I think all the server rehashing has been done now and my site is still not there.

I've even tried to re-register the same domain name, but it says it's already in use.

Can someone let me know what's going on?

    The site is/was rcd.pcriot.

Thanks for your help with this.

It is likely that you didn't request a backup after the server moves. (It is in News & Announcements)
You will have to signup for another account: http://x10hosting.com/free-hosting-signup

Your previous account was probably terminated since there was no data on it. (because no backup was requested)

Hi Brandon,

Thanks for helping me with this.

Can you give me a link to where I can change the main domain? Or direct me?

I appreciate your help.

Hello again,

I set up a new main domain. I am guessing this is what you meant.

Could you please tell me how to "change it back" now?

Thanks,

RC

Simply go to your account panel where you just changed it and change it back to what you wanted before.

Seems like you opened a new thread, next time please keep all details within one thread, you are able to re-open topic, etc.
