Which Linux would work best for me?

I want to advise Arch linux (http://archlinux.org). For me? It's great, uberstable (like hard do learn *BSD), quite easy (like *buntu), supports many architectures like x86_64, and superb repo (everytime up-to-date). If you you can spent more time to learn Arch linux is for you. If you discover that distro you probably won't have any problems with seemingly difficult to use Slackware, Debian.
