While installing Exponent CMS it says File upload Disabled....

While installing Exponent CMS it says File upload Disabled, it is not passing all checks so i am not able to install it, pls help regarding this
Please find the attached screenshot which describes error

Will it work with the open_basedir restrictions? That can't be disabled.

As for file uploads, I'm not sure why it's saying that. File uploads are enabled.

Do you know if Exponent CMS connects to the Exponent server and uploads files from there? That could be the issue. If you believe it is so, I can request that Exponent's server is whitelisted so that these uploads will work. If you are unsure, I would ask on the Exponent forum why this error is happening so I have more information to help troubleshoot your problem.

Hi...
Actually i installed Exponent at my localhost using XAMPP (Apache + MySQL), it worked fine, so i dont think so Exponent CMS connects to the Exponent server and uploads files from there but i am not sure. I know X10hosting allows file upload but dont know why only this CMS is giving problem. Please help.

You'll have to ask the people Exponent what this error is. They're the experts on it. If they can tell you why this error occurs then I can tell you what we can do to try and fix it.
