who is your idol?

=0 Agreed! I would never go as far as to say that Vasquez is my idol. He would hate me for saying that >.>;;; He knocks down imitation to no extent in his comic books.
I just can't stand those people that say "my idol is Kobe Bryant" or some other sports star/model/whateverelse. I believe that a person should look up to someone who is wise and smart and good and so on. A person who puts a ball in a hoop, makes sexual poses at a camera, and so on is not someone to put as an "idol" unless they have done many many other things that make then a great person.

yeah i know.. its a bit strange.. Prophet Muhammed is my idol for conduct in life..
whereas i just look up to bill gates from a career and tech point of view.
I would like to be Vivekananda. He who do not afraid of questioning the established things when he was not convinced as things were not explained. He revolted against idol worship when he found that a small mice was eating the offerrings given to God.
However on the other side when Ramakrishna convinced him with logic about religious belief he compiled with that.
He was one who brought brotherhood/ sisterhood much before it was understood by addressing all audience in US religious meet by "My sisters and brothers..".
Again he showed his caliber by giving lecture on the topic "ZERO" which was given more to dissuade him. He stunned everyone by putting so much meaning to the topic.
He is idol for youth as he had achieved all this at so young age.
So that's why I consider him my idol.

No idol, I am me and dont want to be someone else or be like them. On the flip, I dont want anyone being like me!
I have a mentor though. My uncle for being at the top of his game which happens to be mine. I learn from him and make my own deductions from what I learn.
