Why would'nt you choose x10! I see no other logical option period.

Here's my story.....

I spent 50+ hours solid awake, online, scanning the web like a madman... Searching for what?? Just some simple free hosting to post my flash/art/music experiments on.. Do that sound like a hard thing at first? No... But alas, in those 50 hours i found literally hundreds of free hosts.. Probably about 30 which actually sounded promising.. First off, 90% of these free hosts wont let you upload .mp3's, .swfs, amongst other popular formats. (I'm not trying to upload malicious .swf's or stolen .mp3's!! Jeeze! just my own stuffs!) And the ones that don't prohibit these, and most the ones that do, have a 1MB per file upload limit! Come on who can possibly benefit from that! Also most of these places offer a mere 10-20mb total storage! So I find some without all these stupid rules, and a decent amount of storage, maybe even alright bandwidth... But then I upload my page... Go to see it.. ALAS, 50 strobing, ugly as sin, offensive banners!!!!!! What is this?!!? Wheres my page?!?! OMG it's 4 "page downs" away! This will not WORK! NOOOOOO.

But then, somehow, somewhere, don't even remember how I found it, but I stumble apon x10hosting... Main page is a forum.. I start reading posts, immediately I am drawn in, I continue to read the forum for a couple hours, before even applying! "What a great bunch of people" I think.. "Man, these plans sound outstanding" I say.. And whats this, the members sound OVERLY happy with the service here!!! "This is too good to be true" I say.. I then think "Well lets try applying, I bet they deny me, this just has to be a mean joke.,...." So I apply...
30 minutes later I check my email... "WHATS THIS! Theyve already responded!, omg I've been accepted!". "Okay, so I'll go check out this CP and upload my site, maybe I'll find the catch there, there is always a catch.. ALWAYS!". So I do it... I check out my site.. "WTH! Perfection! There aint even an autobanneR!"


So in conclusion, here are my reasons...
#1. No stupid rules!
#2. The best storage/bandwidth plans I've ever heard of.
#3. THE MOST fair and reasonable banner ad rules of any other, HANDS DOWN!
#4. OMG did you see that user CP! 1 word... Amazing.
#5. The staff is one in a million.. They respond almost instantly to everything! And they're even polite! And helpful!
#6. The members are even pleasant!
#7. Do I even need to mention the storage space, bandwidth, scripts, mySQL, and all the rest?!
#8. I'm still looking for the catch! (endless quest)
#9. You read my whole post, points #5 and #6 proven.


So there you have it, your at the best free host ever known.

I chose x10hosting because of the space, and bandwith. It provide more then some web hosting I tested.

I also needed PHP and lots of the free sites didn't support it.
Now that I've made the change over, I've been really happy, and I feel that the staff and members are really nice people.

Well I think amoung nice friendly staff,support and registered users it has to be the uptime. The last place I was at had JUST purchased a BRAND NEW server, this was down 65-70% of the time, they promised no ads and then theres huge ones across your site. x10hosting is up all the time no crazy ads, nice ppl, great forums, awesome help, ...I mean I could go on. This is just a great place .

THAT is exactly it. I was on a post to host. And i got my 50 posts or whatever so i apply, and the guy accepts me. Doesn't make my account for 4 days then denies me out of nowere . I guess what has nothing to do with that but, I'm here for Fantastico THE WIKI TO RULE THEM ALL!!!!!!!111 :homestar:

Well the main reason is becuase it is free and offers more features than most hosts out there - even paid ones. Other reasons are its friendly community and great help support in short times.

well i was using f******s and b******t, and i needed a host that allowed me more freedom, and the ability to use templates. so i was talking to this guy that had a website, and he reccomended me to here. i decided to join because of the helpful staff and the community. also as everyone said above- the great features!
