Okay so Ive had another free webhost before (yes im not a virgin X10er) but it was crappy and since everyone I try to talk to about my crappy experience with them either has no clue what a webhost is or scolds me for not backing up my website (i dont back up anything rofl im just retarted like that) I decided to post a topic in here describing my nightmare:
So it all started when I wanted to host a gaming clan website for my friends... It required php and my friends wouldn't pay me for webhosting so I decdied to find a free one. After a quick google search I stumbled upon a site called qupis... They offered free hosting, placed the ads on my page, php, mysql, the works... Anyway so I started to use them and everything was happy, I was happy w/ my pathetic 150mb of storage and my 2 or 3 myspql databases, but hey it was free... Well about 2 months later the clan was dead, my website had undergone so many graphical changes that I was bored with it and just set it to the default joomla template and everything was still. But a few months later I found out about Wordpress and go excited agian.... I decided to put together my own entertainment studios, I was starting a machinima in FEAR (which btw never panned out as the actors never showed their faces on XFire or Skype to record) and so I needed a sit to post my content up on. I started doing the graphics and came up with a really kick ass template.... So I started implementating it in wordpress... Well oneday I was on a computer at school and logged in to my hosting account to see why my site had gone down. Low and behold, the jerks at Qupis had decided to move all of the sites to another server. Which was fine by me except they decided to make the process more speedy by just up and deleting supposedly inactive sites. I thought hmm, that cant be me, I just logged into my cpanel about a day ago. So I posted a topic on the forums and tried to sign up for another account with them as my original had been deleted without any notice or warning. I had infringed no rules posted no porn etc. etc. No TOS violated... I asked on the forums and nothing happend, I reregistered and go rejected.... TWICE.... Finally i did another search for free hosting and stumbled up you guys. This is such a better site than that other one its not even funny and here are the ruels why:
A. Better service (u suspened first and delte later)
B. A community (the point system has really paid off here)
C. Decent hosting fees (a small line of text for 1 GB of storage is great, Qupis was making me put 3 large buttons at the bottom of my pages)
D. Great technical support (IE. The entire frekaing community is there to help u)
E. Reasonable uptime and up to date explanations for downtime/changes (neatly documented, great home panel interface)
This is suc a gret webhost, I cant recommend it more highly. Thanks guys for being the best...
