@Spartan Erik
Haha wow I'm suprised by the results; why did anyone vote PS3? Sure, it's got great hardware, but it will be YEARS until gaming companies put that much money into developing games with graphics that will even utilize that much hardware power! PS3 games are rather lousy too (unless you love RPGs); I on the other hand love FPS games, like Gears of War and the Halo series, which is why my vote goes to the 360.

If I could make an additional vote, I would vote the Wii. Yes, it is a childish console, but it does provide easy thrills. However, I do believe the Wii is overpriced, since all it really is is a motion sensor. Seriously, if you play Wii sports, there is no base running or manual catching when it comes to the baseball game; all you have to do is swing your arm! It gets boring if you're only with another person, but it is amusing if you're at a party of upwards of 30 people. IMO the Wii should be priced <$100.

Completely disagree fora couple reasons:

1) It is not all childinsh, I can list many games that are and many games that arent: Example:

Childish: On the line: Non childish:
Avatar Zelda Far Cry(M)
Elebits Marvel Alliance Call of Duty 3(t)
Barnyard Medal of Honor(t-M)
ect NFL 07(E)
Red Steel(T)

.....And there is so much more like FT Pro racing and such.

2) Wi Sports is not a huge game, its like a demo game thats packaged with wii for people to play it and get used to the controls.

3) For it being expensive. Not really decent price. I hear it may be lowering to $200-$250. But all Systems are over priced, besides PS3 which comes with all this crap thats expensive but no1 wants/needs.

4) For it all being motion sensitive. Not really, most games are but not all, and its way more fun.

The Wii controller can interact with computers (bluetooth) and be understood by them, and thus can be used with HL2 (there's a video of it somewhere).

Wii wins. :p

Wii all the way. PS3 has reverse compatability but if you play PS2 games on a PS3 they will look like crap and there aren't many games out for the PS3 that aren't allready out for xBox 360 n stuff.

Check what I found.

Nintendo's Wii owns all at this point. 360 is right behind as it has a year's adventage, and PS3 is in last as it doesn't have any games I want. This may change in the later months, but the Wii has my video game time right now. Zelda.

same wit me, but the Wii may change that. They are sold out everywhere except this little PC shop in my neighborhood who bought 50 of em online from eBay and are sellin em at $550 each. So yeah, they are sold out.

If I could have one of them for free, without any costs or anything, my choice would be the PS3. Superior processing power and graphical capabilities are great, and those gigs make for an excellent second hard drive.

Of course, that'll never happen. Being the cheap-o I am, I would opt to get a Wii just by sheer price if nothing else. I'm not saying it is bad--I'd love any of them, but I definitely think Resistance: Fall of Man is better (and sure as hell a console seller if I ever saw one) than Halo 3 or Gears of War--and this is the part where XBox fanboys, bless their misguided souls, tear me limb from limb--but both are better than some of the games the Wii dishes out.

I am certainly interested, though, how my favorite games like Zelda and Mario will play on the new system; not to mention how the crazy Nintendo programers will out due themselves with creative games that the new means will provide them.

As a run down (in case you skipped that to see if I had any handy one liners to express my opinion without reading those blocks of text): PS3 > Xbox 360 > Wii in terms of games; Wii > Xbox 360 > PS3 in terms of price.

Choke on that.
